Michael Jackson asked the man in the mirror to change his ways. Remember, change begins with you. As a society we spend a lot of time blaming everyone else for the choices we make but until you can see yourself as you really are you will not be able to make that change.
Please know that the power to change lies within you but it is not in your effort of trying but you trusting God. You were created in His image so when you look in the mirror you should see God. Take a good hard look and tell me what you see in the mirror. If all you can see is failure, disappointment and despair I challenge you to close your eyes then open them in faith.

In order to make that change you have to have a different perspective. Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society made a point to his students by standing on top of his desk. He challenged them to look at life from a different point of view.
Too often, we get stuck because our vision becomes fixed on this one way. We do not see or consider other possible options, alternatives or solutions. They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.
If you really want to make that change you make need to take a different look at yourself. Sometimes we only see what we want to see.
