How bad is it: Tomorrow might make it look “good”

It was the summer of ‘63. What a great year!  My mom was under the carport in a rocking chair pregnant with me. A neighbor from down street, Mr. Red Tillman walk up to my mom and shared these words. “From the day you’re born till you ride in the hearse, ain’t nothing so bad that it can’t get worse.”

I have often thought of these words when my situation in life has been bad thinking that it cannot get worse. It was usually then that two or three more things would happen that would make Mr. Tillman’s words ring true. So in times like these remember to grip the solid ROCK!
